A flight headed to Barcelona from Atlanta had to turn around and go back to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport for a stinky reason.
A Delta passenger had diarrhea so bad that it sprayed down an aisle aboard a midair Friday flight, forcing the plane to turn around, TMZ reported.
Two hours into the eight-hour flight, the aircraft was flying over Virginia when the passenger experienced a “medical issue” in front of passengers in the cabin.
A Delta Airlines Airbus A350 turned around back to Atlanta Friday night because of diarrhea throughout the airplane from a passenger and it’s a biohazard. 👀🥴

“This is a biohazard issue,” a pilot told air-traffic control. “We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta.”
Flight DL194 arrived in Barcelona at 5 p.m. the next day, eight hours later than it was scheduled to arrive, Flightradar24 indicated.
The departure had already been delayed by two hours before the incident on board.
“My partner was on that flight!” a Twitter said. “It was pretty bad. It was dribbled down the aisle, smelled horrible. The vanilla-scented disinfectant used on it only made it smell like vanilla s—. After the plane landed, it was thoroughly cleaned.”
According to the Insider, cleaning crews sorted the problem because the same plane was used for the second journey.
“Our teams worked as quickly and safely as possible to thoroughly clean the airplane and get our customers to their final destination. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the delay and inconvenience to their travel plans,” a Delta rep told the outler.
