Derek Fisher Files For Divorce

Knicks Coach Derek Fisher filed for divorce from his wife Candace in Los Angeles yesterday. The couple had been married for 10 years and have twins together. They each also have a child from previous relationships. 

Fisher issued a statement saying, “This is a difficult time for me personally. For the sake of our children, I ask that everyone respects our privacy during this process.” He’s aSking for joint legal and physical custody of the children. The couple would also like to split legal costs both ways. 

Glad to see them handling he divorce like adults. Hopefully I’m not speaking too soon.
