If you thought Derrick Rose was going to sit idly while his ex accused him of rape, you thought wrong. The Bulls star is fighting back!
You may recall the alleged victim, who we will refer to as “Ms. M”, is accusing Derrick Rose and a friend of inviting her over to Derrick’s home, drugging her, then when she got home, breaking into her apartment and raping her. According to Rose, however, that’s not what happened at all.
Court docs say that not only was the sex between the Ms. M, Rose and his friend consensual on the night in question, they’ve even had threesomes on more than one occasion. If that wasn’t enough, TMZ reports it was the Ms. M who buzzed Rose and his homeboy in to the apartment, so according to Rose, there definitely wasn’t a break in.
Rose says that after he and his homie engaged in consensual sex with Ms. M, things appeared to be cool the following day. He says that Ms. M had coffee with her roommate, then went to work her full shift as normal. He says that Ms. M is only mad now because she allegedly bought and used a sex toy on the night in question and felt she needed to be reimbursed for it. Rose says that when he began ignoring her texts, she got even angrier.
Must be one expensive sex toy if she’s going through all of this.
The incident allegedly took place in 2013 and Ms. M is suing for unspecified damages.
