Prosecutors have dropped all domestic violence charges against boxer Gervonta Davis.
In December last year, Davis was facing one count of misdemeanor battery after the mother of his child accused him of punching her during an altercation in Florida.
On Monday, all charges were dropped after the victim decided not to press charges.
Prosecutors say that both parties “agreed that the defendant had to complete an anger management course and parenting class,” which led to the case being dismissed.
According to TMZ, she called the police after he slapped her with a “closed hand type slap” which cut the inside of her lip.
Shortly after, she took to social media to recant the accusations, “While the emotions were high I made an unnecessary call to law enforcement in an intense moment while I was frantic.”
