Denim on Denim
Denim will always be in, but this fall, the dramatic denim on denim is in. Partially due to the girlies on TikTok advocating for Zara’s lookalike Mugler Jeans which would typically retail for nearly $1000 at Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. Don’t be surprised if you see the trend in real life with a matching denim jacket.
Loud Prints
Though it was frowned upon, it doesn’t mean it can’t make a sudden comeback. Loud prints are in, whether you are toning them down with a simple complimenting top like Lori Harvey or dressing it up even more with prints. REVOLVE and Maniere De Voir are known for their modern printed denim pants.
Summer Dress but for Fall
Now, this trend is all about how you choose to accessorize. The long maxi dresses were in for summer and rolled over into the fall season. The SKIMS dress has been super popular on TikTok, but with accessories like cropped cardigans or denim jackets. Some even copy the Kim K. Balenciaga look and sport long thigh-high boots under the dress. Expect to see long neutral dresses this season.
Monotone looks
You never can go wrong with monotone looks, so it’s no shocker this trend made the list. Some colors to expect that are pretty vibrant for a chilly fall include royal purple, burning red, and jewel-toned teals. However, you can wear an all-black or neutral-toned outfit with a pop of color if the bright colors are too much for the season.
Y2K Fur jackets
Fast-fashion sites like Fashion Nova, PrettyLittleThing, Boo-Hoo, and more, show the famous Y2K fashion is carrying over into the fall. This time it’s all about the furs. Think Disney’s Cheetah Girls meets Kimora Lee Simmons’ Baby Phat. The sassy jackets are back!
Low-Cut Jeans/Bottoms
Bodysuits are just so convenient, and don’t worry if your jeans or joggers are not high-waisted enough; a little skin is in. Corsets, bodysuits, or basic tops with low or mid-length bottoms. It’s just enough to show the lower hip or underwear side.
Leather
When it gets cold, leather will always be in. A current trend, though, is leather tops or oversized jackets. So pull out that top from your closet and put it to use!

A summer staple carrying over to the fall season, including sets, tops, and fun-pattern dresses, is knitwear!
