1. Jay Z
As a rapper and businessman, #JayZ is one of the best selling musicians of all time, having sold more than 100 million records, released 13 studio albums and received 21 Grammys for his music. This year alone, Forbes estimated his worth to be $810 million, making him the second-richest hip-hop artist in the country. He holds the US Billboard 200 record for the most number one albums by a solo artist. He was also ranked the 88th greatest artist of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine and not to mention, he’s married to the hottest woman in the world, Beyonce. All of those accolades definitely qualify Hov to receive a star on the Walk of Fame, wouldn’t you agree?

2. Beyonce
It’s hard to believe that Queen Bey doesn’t have a star of her own on the Walk of Fame yet, but hopefully, that’ll change sometime soon. #Beyonce has sold more than 100 million records worldwide as a solo artist (and that’s not to mention the 60 million with Destiny’s Child). Along with her husband, she’s one of the best-selling music artists in history having won 22 Grammy Awards and earning the title as the most nominated woman in the award’s history. Although Destiny’s Child has a star on the Walk of Fame, I think it’s time that Beyonce earned her solo star as well.

3. Kanye West
Since the very beginning of his career, #KanyeWest was destined to be a superstar. From his “College Dropout” days to his fashion projects, to his high profile relationships (including the controversy), Yeezy is quite the legend and his legacy deserves to be honored in Hollywood.

4. Tupac
Pac is a no-brainer for me. As an actor and rapper, #Tupac has been listed and ranked as one of the greatest artist of any genre by many publications, including Rolling Stone Magazine who ranked him 86th on their list of “The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.” In his short life, Tupac recorded five studio albums, five posthumous studio albums and appeared in nine prominent acting roles, each of which showed Pac’s range of talent. Not to mention, earlier this year Tupac was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, so it’s only right that his legacy continues to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

5. Notorious BIG
If we’re going to talk about Tupac, then we have to talk about #Biggie. The Bad Boy rapper was ranked by Billboard Magazine as one of the ten greatest rappers of all time and is known for his easy flow, dark lyrics, and storytelling abilities. It’s been said on multiple occasions that no rapper today has come close to Biggie’s undeniable talent and for that, he should be honored and forever recognized in Hollywood.

Well, there you have it, five influential artists who I believe deserve a spot on the Walk of Fame. What do you think?
