Just when you thought craziness has reached it’s peak, things got crazier. 25-year-old Florida native, Josseleen Elida Lopez was arrested this past Tuesday at a Walmart in Lecanto, FL. According to CBS Miami, Lopez was arrested for eating food and drinking wine, while driving a motorized shopping cart around the store.
A Walmart employee told officials that Lopez was ‘acting strange’–so, she then became alarmed and noticed an almost empty bottle of wine in Lopez’s shopping cart. It is said that Lopez consumed $32.36 worth of both food and wine.
Once deputies arrived, they found that Lopez had been eating sushi, some of a rotisserie chicken, cinnamon rolls, and she also drank two bottles of S. Home wine. Lopez claimed to be homeless, and said that she was hungry. She also stated that she didn’t want to bring the food outside.
After her arrest, two empty syringes were discovered–which she later admitted were used to inject crystal meth.
Lopez was charged for shoplifting and drug paraphernalia.
Although Lopez committed such senseless crime, she has since acknowledged that she was in fact wrong.
