Floyd Mayweather stepped up to help victims of the Maui wildfires. The retired boxer is providing care for 68 families affected by the tragedy.

Mayweather offered to pay the expenses for the families, including plane tickets from Maui to Honolulu and hotel stays for several weeks, and he is also supplying them with food from local restaurants, Black Enterprise reported.

He is also working with H&M to provide them with clothing.

Mayweather says his good deeds aren’t for attention but to offer aid to those in need.

At least 55 people have died, the Associated Press reported. The tragedy is considered the island’s worst disaster since a tsunami hit in 1960, killing 61 people on the Big Island.

Josh Green, the governor of Maui, expects the death toll to rise as rescue crews continue to search for human remains.
