NBA superstar Dwyane Wade retired from his beloved sport of basketball at the end of the 2018-2019 season, and now, he’s taking his talents back to the writing room for a new memoir.
William Morrow announced that the book will be titled, “3 Dimensional,” set to be available for purchase on October 22. The memoir will reportedly focus on the “essential principles” of Wade’s life and career, detailing his rise from Chicago’s South Side to NBA stardom.
Wade was a 13-time All-Star player who won three NBA championships with the Miami Heat. Wade said in a statement that he would share little-known stories and images from his “rollercoaster journey.”
“3 Dimensional” will be Wade’s second book release, as he is also the author of “A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball,” which came out in 2012.
