Freddie Gibbs Arrested In France; Accused Of Rape In Austria

Rapper Freddie Gibbs, who was once signed to Jeezy, is facing some very serious accusations overseas. 

It’s being reported that last night, Freddie Gibbs was arrested in Toulouse, France stemming from a rape accusation in Austria from 2015. Cops apprehended Gibbs just minutes before he was set to take the stage at Le Rex. He currently sitting in jail pending extradition to Austria. 

Freddie Gibbs’ attorney,  Scott Leemon, has denied the allegations and says they will fight the extradition. 

“Freddie Gibbs adamantly denies the allegations that have been levied against Austrian authorities,” says Leemon. “It makes you wonder why it took almost a year for Austrian officials to bring these charges.”

Leemon continues, “Freddie will be fighting the extradition request as these are nothing more than trumped up charges.”
