Gucci Mane pleaded guilty today to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon following an incident back in September where Gucci’s friend alerted cops of the rapper’s erratic behavior. Gucci allegedly waved his gun, threatened to kill them, yelled and cursed, which eventually lead to his arrest. This all happened just days after his very bizarre meltdown on Twitter.
The possession charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail, but under Gucci’s plea deal he’s only expected to face 39 months. He’s also received 10 months credit for time served. This means Gucci isn’t expected home until 2016. He returns to court for sentencing in July.
