The husband of “Selling Sunset” star Christine Quinn was arrested for allegedly harming their young son.
On Tuesday, around 2:00 p.m., Christian Richard was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence in Hollywood.
According to the LAPD, Richard tossed a bag containing a glass bottle, missing the intended target, and hit the child nearby. Several outlets have reported that the injured minor was Richard and Quinn’s two-year-old son, Christian Georges Dumontet.
“The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim but hit the victim’s child, causing injury,” a public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department told Page Six Wednesday.
The child was treated at the scene and was not transported to the hospital. The entrepreneur was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $30,000.
Quinn and Richard met after filming season one of Selling Sunset when the pair were set up by one of Quinn’s friends. They married in 2019. While not much is known about Richard, their nuptials were filmed as part of Season 3 of “Selling Sunset.” Richard would also appear alongside his wife during various scenes, though not much of his personal life was covered, as he used the last name Dumontet. It’s also unknown if the couple had domestic violence issues in their home life. Quinn exited the show in its fifth season in 2022 with plans to start a real estate crypto company together.
Richard seems to be still behind bars.
