iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God have officially announced the highly anticipated return of the Black Effect Podcast Festival, slated for April 27 at Pullman Yards in Atlanta, GA. This esteemed event aims to celebrate, uplift, and amplify Black voices within the podcast industry, marking a significant moment for creators and listeners alike.
Charlamagne Tha God will grace the festival alongside other prominent personalities from the Black Effect network for an enriching day of live podcast tapings and insightful discussions. These sessions are designed to inspire and support podcasters within the Black community. Hosting the event will be the dynamic duo of comedians Pretty Vee and B-Daht, promising a blend of entertainment and enlightenment.
Tickets for this pivotal event will become available on February 28 at 12 p.m. EST, offering an opportunity for attendees to engage with influential voices and content.
Now in its second year, the festival is set to feature live appearances from some of the most celebrated shows on the Black Effect network. Highlights include “Carefully Reckless with Jess Hilarious,” “WHOREible Decisions,” “Black Tech, Green Money,” and “Deeply Well with Devi Brown.” Special guests such as Michelle Williams of “Checking In” and Dr. Joy Harden-Bradford from “Therapy for Black Girls” will also join, enriching the festival’s lineup. Additionally, attendees will be treated to special live recordings of hit shows like “Pour Minds,” “The Baller Alert Show,” and “Million Dollaz Worth of Game,” hosted by the dynamic Wallo and Gillie Da Kid.
The festival will also host thought-provoking panel discussions on topics such as monetizing podcasting, brand building, and evolving content and brand partnership standards. These panels will feature notable figures like Cari Champion of “Naked with Cari Champion,” Will Lucas from “Black Tech, Green Money,” John Hope Bryant of “Money and Wealth with John Hope Bryant,” Glasses Malone from “No Ceilings,” Mandii B of “WHOREible Decisions,” and other distinguished guests.
Charlamagne Tha God expressed his pride in returning to Atlanta for the second consecutive year to highlight the exceptional talent within their network and the broader podcasting community.
