Despite Jada Pinkett-Smith’s recent revelations about her marriage, the actress is adamant that she and Will are fixing their relationship.
During Monday’s chat with Hoda Kotb on “Today,” Smith shared that she still has much love for the “Men In Black” superstar.
“There’s no finding another great love, and I think that’s the point. It’s like we are in a place now that we are in a deep, healing space. And we are really concentrating on healing the relationship between us,” Jada reassured Kotb and fans around the 5:45 mark.
During the rollout of her highly anticipated memoir, “Worthy,” she has shared several shocking facts, the most notable being that she and Will have been separated since 2016. Jada has shared that Tupac Shakur proposed to her while in prison, even though the two were only friends. Additionally, she praised her son Jaden for introducing her to psychedelics, which prevented her from committing suicide during a bout with depression. While social media has dragged Jada, she has not swayed from telling her truth.
Will has finally broken his silence about her recent interviews, admitting that “emotional blindness” set in during their marriage. Still, Jada is standing firm that the two are making things work.
“There’s no divorce on paper. We really have been working hard. That’s the whole thing. We are working very hard at bringing our relationship together. Back to a life partnership,” she stated.
Well, it’s nice to see the Smiths are still trucking along despite their odd dynamic.
