Jaden Smith has teamed up with a local church to expand a new water filtration structure in Flint, Michigan.
Although Smith is generally known for his acting abilities and flourishing rap career, on the other hand, the son of Will and Jada is rather a humanitarian as well.
According to The Associated Press, the 20-year-old’s JUST goods foundation is partnering up with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church to provide a mobile water filtration system titled “The Water Box” located in Flint, MI, that will diminish lead and other possible contaminants. Further to this, the filtration system was created and managed by JUST goods and the church.
It’s commonly known that Flint has been suffering from a severe water crisis because of water contamination that was detected in 2014. Nevertheless, water emergencies and other initiatives have been set in motion in the outcome of this crisis. It’s amazing to see a celebrity of Jaden’s caliber to do his part to help residents in need.
