In celebration of Jay-Z’s 50th birthday, the music mogul’s music catalog has returned to Spotify.
Back in 2017, Jay-Z pulled nearly his entire discography from the streaming giant with no explanation given.
Many theories began to circulate the internet about why Jay-Z made the big move, suggesting that it was a way to encourage users to subscribe to his streaming service Tidal prior to the release of his latest album,”4:44,” according to Billboard.
Whatever the case may be, his music is now available to stream on Spotify, including ”4:44,” ”Watch The Throne,” ”American Gangster,” and more.
Spotify took to twitter to announce Jay-Z’s return writing, ”Happy birthday, Hov Welcome back to Spotify.”
