Jeannie Mai is accusing her ex-husband Jeezy of failing to comply with the terms of their divorce settlement, alleging that he owes her a substantial amount of money and has not completed the paperwork for the transfer of two vehicles.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the former “The Real” host claims that Jeezy is not following through on several agreements they made when finalizing their split earlier this year. The agreements reportedly include payments for their child’s daycare and school tuition, depositing at least $500,000 in an interest-bearing account for their daughter Monaco, transferring the titles of two cars to her, and covering four months of her rent.
Jeannie alleges that Jeezy has already fallen short on multiple obligations, stating he owes her $4,000 for tuition and childcare costs and has not provided access to the $500,000 account he was supposed to set up for their daughter. Additionally, she claims that while the divorce settlement stipulated she would receive a 2021 Range Rover and a 2022 Ford Bronco, Jeezy has not yet transferred the titles, preventing her from insuring the vehicles or shipping the Bronco from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
The documents also state that Jeezy was supposed to cover Jeannie’s rent from May through August. She claims he hasn’t reimbursed her, and she is now out $92,417.39 for nearly four months of rent.
Jeannie says her legal team has attempted to resolve these issues by reaching out to Jeezy’s representatives, but they reportedly stopped responding in July. With no resolution in sight, she is now asking the court to enforce the settlement and hold Jeezy in contempt.
This comes after it was previously reported that Jeannie and Jeezy finalized their divorce on June 11, and the settlement details had been kept under seal until now.
