Kanye West has fired another one of his divorce attorneys as his hearing with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian West approaches.
According to TMZ, West has cut ties with another legal team member, Chris Melcher, who was working on his divorce with Kardashian West. TMZ says that his relationship with Melcher became non-communicative, and allegedly the two weren’t seeing eye-to-eye. This is now the fourth attorney West has terminated since Kardashian West filed for divorce in February 2021.
TMZ’s sources say that West wanted to handle things smoothly with Kardashian West at one point, and in other instances, West wanted to make the divorce uneasy. In the meantime, West has picked up Samantha Spector, the attorney who represented Dr. Dre’s ex-wife Nicole Young in her divorce with the music mogul.
The former item’s hearing is set for Wednesday, where it is likely that the decision to grant Kardashian West legally single could be made, the news outlet reports. Both celebs may not appear in person. TMZ reports Kardashian West may phone in or join the hearing via video chat, cording to court records.
