Kendrick Leads The Pack In 2017 MTV Video Music Awards Nominations

Kendrick Lamar is having the best week after. Shortly after receiving RIAA double platinum certification for his latest album, “Damn,” the Compton rapper has just found out that “Humble” has landed him eight  MTV Video Music Awards nominations this year, including Video of the Year, Best Direction and Artist of the Year. Following behind are The Weeknd and Katy Perry who are both tied for five nominations.

MTV announced the nominees via Instagram Live on Tuesday. Check out the full list of nominees below.  The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from the Forum in Inglewood, California on Sunday, August 27 AT 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
