Kim Kardashian Admits To Being “Embarrassingly Obsessed” With Fame, Talks People Underestimating Her Potential Law Degree

Kim Kardashian shared some truths about her journey during an interview conducted by her husband Kanye West for the September issue of Vogue Arabia. 

She talked about her goals and intentions of seeking the spotlight that got her exactly where she is today: a $370 million empire, 149 million Instagram followers, and tons of influence.

“Money was always the goal, but I was obsessed with fame, like embarrassingly obsessed,” the 38-year-old shared. “I do agree that fame can be addictive.”

After 16 seasons of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kim said she has no regrets on her rise to fame, as the family decided to be honest with viewers from day one. 

“Even in my darkest of times, I don’t regret putting myself out there for the world to see,” she expressed. “People have shared with me over the years how much it has helped them to feel less alone when dealing with their own adversity. I love having a voice, and I appreciate the platform that I have been given, even though I do wish I could have more privacy at times.”

Now with children, Kim understands more than ever the responsibility she has to be a role model, not just for her fans, but her children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. 

With that in mind, Kim now seeks a law degree despite nay-sayers who believe her celebrity gives her a leg up.

“There is a misconception that I don’t actually have to study and that I’ve bought my way into getting a law degree – that’s absolutely not true,” she said clearing the air, adding, “Being underestimated and over-delivering is my vibe.”

To make things fun, Kanye also asked his wife the question everyone wanted to know, which sister is her favorite. 

“It changes, just like friends or relationships go in and out,” Kim answers. “I think this year has been a really strong Kim and Khloe year. I’m obviously so close with Kendall and Kylie too, but I’ve spent so much more time on this earth with Kourtney and Khloe—16 and 17 years longer with them. We have more history, have been through so much together, and we have more friends in common. Kourtney and I will always be really close, but this year, Khloe and I really bonded.”
