Florida rapper, Kodak Black, has a pretty lengthy rap sheet, which includes everything from marijuana possession, false imprisonment, sexual assault, and robbery. However, it looks like the 20-year-old may actually be trying to stay on the right track in more ways than one.
Before Kodak commits to any new collaborations, his lawyer, Bradford Cohen, just filed legal docs to clarify the conditions of his current house arrest sentence. You see, the rapper has been ordered not to associate with known felons, but that would bar him from hitting the studio with quite a few fellow hip-hop artists (including rappers he’s previously teamed up with like Rick Ross and Gucci Mane). Kodak and his legal team are hoping the judge will grant him an exception for work associates and family members.
Back in April, he was found guilty of five counts of house arrest violations, so it seems he may be finally learning from his mistakes.
