It’s never too early to jump into the holiday spirit with Netflix.

La La Anthony has just secured her position as a star in an upcoming Netflix Christmas film. The “Power” actress will most likely be taking a different approach compared to her saucy, ride-or-die hood character, “Lakeisha Grant.”

Vents Magazine explained “Holiday Rush” tells the story of Rashon “Rush” Williams, who is a radio Dj in New York and single dad to four spoiled kids, as he learns the true meaning behind Christmas. But, things take a turn for the worse when he gets fired from his job right before his children hand over their lengthy Christmas gift list expectations. Not wanting to let them down, he scrambles to buy another station to make some more money. However, his materialistic ways of celebrating the holidays come to an end once he and his children reconnect emotionally.

The rest of the cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery), Romany Malco (Think Like a Man), Tamala Jones (What Men Want), Roscoe Orman (New Amsterdam), Darlene Love (Lethal Weapon), Deon Cole (Black-ish), and Amarr M. Wooten (Knight Squad).
