DaBaby continues to maintain his innocence in the 2018 Walmart shooting.

After Rolling Stone published the surveillance video of DaBaby shooting and killing a man in Walmart, it questioned the rapper’s self-defense tactics.

TMZ reports that DaBaby’s legal team says the video actually supports the rapper’s narrative. The video also was reviewed by prosecutors in 2018.

Prosecutors concluded that Jonathan Kirk, aka DaBaby, acted in self-defense.

TMZ says the Mecklenburg County judge also viewed the video connected to not having permits for his gun. DaBaby told police that he defended himself because the victims followed him around in Walmart and flashed a gun at him.
