The leading ladies of “Sex and the City” spoke out about Chris Noth, their former co-star, saying they support the two women accusing him of sexual harassment.
“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” the actors said in an identical statement. “We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do, and we commend them for it,” signed Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis.
A third woman recently alleged she was sexually assaulted by Noth while working as a hostess and lounge singer at the Midtown Manhattan restaurant Da Marino restaurant in 2010. She was 18 at the time, and Noth was 55.
Earlier this month, The Hollywood Reporter published accusations by two women who said Chris Noth had sexually assaulted them separately. One claims she was assaulted at his West Hollywood apartment in 2004 and the other at his Greenwich Village home in 2015.
The victims, Zoe and Lily, told The Hollywood Reporter that Noth raped them from behind while facing the mirror.
According to a statement given to The Hill, Noth denied the allegations.
The Sex and the City actor has been fired from CBS’s The Equalizer in light of the accusations.
