Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has revealed that he will be spending quality time with his family during the forthcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

The Athletic shared James’ comments on Friday, where he explained that he would be skipping the three-point shooting contest to “spend a Saturday night at home” with his family.

As for the Dunk Contest, James ruled out that competition years ago, saying, “It’s over with. I’m getting too old for that.”

“There were times when I wanted to do it,” he continued. “But I came into All-Star Weekend a few times banged up and I didn’t want to risk further injury.”

Although James has improved from beyond the arc, he will not show off his skills in the forthcoming contest.
