Li lWayne will be honored with the “I Am Hip Hop” Award at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Weezy has been in the rap game for 25 years, and in that time he has won five out of the 26 Grammy nominations, 11 BET Awards, four Billboard Awards, seven BMI Awards, and several other accolades. As we await the highly anticipated #ThaCarterV, The Bet Hip-Hop Awards wants to give the 35-year-old rapper the “I Am Hip-Hop” honor.
This year the Hip-Hop Awards will take place in Florida’s The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater on Oct. 6, and will air October 16. Drake has pulled in a whopping 11 nominations with Cardi B right behind with 10.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
