If you can’t quite remember who Lori Vallow is, well, she is the mother who covered up evidence in the death of her two children when their remains were found in her fifth husband, Chad Daybell’s, backyard. As she sits in jail, police are currently reinvestigating the death of her third husband, Joseph Ryan.
In 2018 when Ryan died, his death was ruled as natural. Yet, new evidence supports another claim.
In a 40-minute recording made by Vallow’s former sister-in-law, Anne Cushing, Vallow considers murdering her former husband, although she does not state a name.
Made public for the first time last week, “the recording is of an informal religious discussion where Vallow preached about her beliefs to a number of friends,” East Idaho News reported.
This outlet obtained the video thanks to Cushing.
CNN reported that in the recording, Vallow decided to join a temple instead of murdering her ex-husband.
Vallow’s attorney declined to comment on the authenticity of the recording.
Reporters were unable to reach Vallow for comments. According to CNN, “She is facing separate charges of conspiring to destroy, alter or conceal evidence in the deaths of two of her children. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges.”
