Less than two weeks after Luke Walton parted ways with the Lakers Organization- forfeiting his position as the Head Coach, the now-Sacramento Kings coach is facing a lawsuit for sexual assault.
A woman named Kelli Tennant, who claims to have had a longstanding business relationship with Walton, says the incident occurred in May 2017.
In docs obtained by TMZ, Tennant says she met Walton at his Santa Monica hotel, upon his request, to discuss a book she asked him to write the foreword for. However, upon arrival, she says he convinced her to go to his room, and that’s when he pinned her down and forcibly kissed her on the neck, face, and chest. She says she screamed and tried to escape his tight grip, but he then proceeded to grope her.
Eventually, Tennant says Walton let her go. But just as she motioned to leave the room, he grabbed her from behind and pushed his body against hers before saying, “Good to see you,” as she left the premises.
