MAJOR. is a Pop Soul singer, best known for his role on the Fox hit series, “Star” and hit single entitled, “Why I Love You.”
In a recent interview with Baller Alert, the singer opened up about his journey and reflected on his accomplishments.
When mentioning the journey that got him to where he is now, he said, “People think that it’s one opportunity, and you get here. I know what it feels like to not be welcomed during this carpet, and I also know what it feels like to be the artist to watch, and then you get nominated, and you’re up against the heavy hitters, and they’re like ‘who?’, now we’re up against the heavy hitters, and they’re like, of course.”
When asked what he learned from his journey to overwhelming success, he said, “It’s okay to hear no. No ain’t never been your final answer because your yes is that much closer when you hear a no, it gets you that much closer to your yes.” Elsewhere, he opened up about being noticed by the likes of legends like Stevie Wonder, who was the first legend to compliment his music.
He finished by saying that he will not be stopping his passion anytime soon, regardless of winning awards and being noticed by some of the heavy hitters.
