Henry Ramone Brown, 30, killed his entire family before taking his own life in a grizzly murder-suicide.
The incident happened on Sunday. Brown, armed with a knife, hid in the trunk of his estranged wife’s car, which was parked outside a Chili’s in Lake Mary, FL. When his wife, Chericia Brown, 31, returned to her car around 10pm that evening, Henry jumped out and stabbed her multiple times. He then dragged her body into the bushes before running around the building to retrieve his vehicle. Two individuals that were dining at Chilli’s, witnessed the attack and attempted to aide Chericia before Henry spotted them, running both the diners and Chericia over with his car. One of the victims struck by the vehicle was taken to Central Florida Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert, while the other victim was taken to Florida Hospital.
The traumatic event didn’t end there. Henry left the scene, switching vehicles before driving to pick up their son and daughter, ages 4 and 1, from their babysitter.
Henry drove the children to the Central Florida Regional Hospital, where Chericia Brown had been taken, and later pronounced dead. He opened fire on police officers and hospital security after being recognized. Henry happened to make it back to his Ford pickup truck where a chase ensued. His vehicle was finally disabled on Interstate 4, using stop sticks. When officers approached the vehicle they found that Henry had not only turned the gun on himself, but had shot his two young children dead before doing so.
Henry Ramone Brown and Chericia Brown wed in 2012. The couple gave birth to their son that same year. In December, Chericia and Henry separated due to a domestic violence incident.
