A Louisiana man is in trouble with the law again after posing as a man with special needs to recruit babysitters to change his diaper and treat him like a child.
After being arrested in November 2019 for human trafficking, Rutledge Deas IV, 31, is in jail again since his latest scheme. He called his help, “alternative therapy.”
According to the Louisiana police, “Deas was posing as a younger man with special needs and hiring babysitters who he would pay to change his diaper and treat him like a child.” He plead guilty in December 2020 for the same thing and was placed on probation.
Police opened a second investigation after reviewing similar text messages sent by Deas. The text messages said he was engaged in “alternative therapy” and offered to pay his victims money. He also used one victim to lure more victims into taking care of him.
He was booked into Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and arrested on December 23 inside his home on one account of human trafficking and attempted human trafficking.
