27 year old Joseph Patterson, the man who has been charged for allegedly beating the two year old son of Adrian Peterson, has been released from Minnehaha County Jail after posting a $750,000 bond. The bond was originally $1 million but was lowered on Monday. Patterson, who plead ‘Not Guilty’ in court, was charged with felony child abuse, second degree murder, 2 counts of first degree manslaughter, as well as aggravated battery of an infant. There are no details as to why the bond was lowered.
Joseph “Jay” Patterson is accused of fatally beating the two year old son of Adrien Peterson and (his current girlfriend) Ashley Ann Doohen. He has had prior incidents with alleged child abuse, though it went unreported.
