Amid clapping in the name of black love, Marsha Stephanie Blake speaks on the importance of black love,” The Photograph” movie, and more.
The new film was directed by Stella McGee and was released this past Valentine’s Day. The film features Issa Ray and LaKeith Stanfield in a powerful message of “black love,” which Marsha speaks of as important when it comes to raising her two daughters.
“Any representation of black love is important to me on so many levels, but the fact that this film is LaKeith & Issa… when I read the script, I thought that the story was unique and revolutionary and still timeless and familiar,” she told Baller Alert.
When asked about the perfect date, she insisted her husband always knows the perfect way to her heart.
She also shared one thing we should take away from” The Photograph,” saying, “That love is… in its best forms, love is simpler than you think. Thank you.”
