Meek Mill just shared something deeply personal and troubling. The Philadelphia rapper says his father’s remains are missing from the cemetery where he was buried over three decades ago.
It all started when a fan quoted a line from Meek’s song “17,” pointing out the lyric about his father not being found in the graveyard.
Meek confirmed the lyric was more than metaphor. “They really can’t find my dad in the graveyard,” he wrote, before asking Grok, the AI tool on Twitter, “Do I have a lawsuit lol?”

His father, Robert Parker, was killed in a shooting in 1992 when Meek was only five years old. That loss shaped him, but now this latest discovery adds even more pain.
Meek has opened up in the past about his father’s death and the emotional impact. He recalled moments from the funeral that left him confused and disturbed as a child.
“I thought it was just another holiday. I didn’t understand what death meant yet,” he once said.
For Meek, losing track of his father’s final resting place feels like losing him all over again.
