Megan Thee Stallion Says She Was Shot In Sunday Morning Incident That Led To Tory Lanez’s Arrest

Just days after the early morning arrest of Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion is opening up about the entire ordeal.

The incident occurred on Sunday Morning after a party in Hollywood Hills. According to initial reports, police received a call about a disturbance around 4:30 am. Upon arrival, witnesses said that an argument occurred in an SUV, and then an individual fired shots in the air before the vehicle took off.

The SUV was located shortly after with Tory, Megan, and another woman inside. Tory was then arrested and booked on a gun charge while Megan was taken to a local hospital for injures.

At first, officials believed the rapper’s cut on her foot came from shattered glass from the car, but now, Megan says she was shot in a targeted incident.

“The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate, and I’d like to set the record straight,” Megan said in an Instagram post, following reports that she was arrested. “On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”

“I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets,” she added, as she revealed she is focusing on her recovery.

“I was never arrested,” she added in her caption. “This whole experience was an eye-opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.”
