Remember Miguel’s infamous accidental leg drop during the Billboard Awards in 2013? Well one of the victims of the mishap has finally lawyered up and is seeking to sue. One girl, Khyati Shah, said that she suffered brain damage after getting hit in the head and that she was considering suing. Apparently she never filed the lawsuit. Most likely since she was given an ice pack for her elbow and kicked it backstage with Miguel after the show, insisting she was fine. According to new reports, another girl says that she was the one that took the brunt of the beating and she intends to take it all the way.
They say the woman’s name is Cindy Tsai and her head hit the stage hard when Miguel landed on her. Cindy is reportedly suing Miguel and MGM Grand Hotel, where the event was held, for negligence and is seeking damages to cover medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Cindy is supposedly the one who actually got leg dropped.
I wonder what took her so long.
