The latest episode documented a serious breakdown between Jackie and her daughter, Chantel, which escalated from verbal tension to a physical confrontation. Over the years, Jackie and Chantel have had a rocky relationship, but this episode exposed one of their most emotional and volatile moments to date. As the argument escalated, the rest of the cast stepped in, with several of them siding with Chantel.
After watching the scene on television, Ming admitted that her understanding of the events had changed.
She wrote: “Jackie, I’ma keep it real, after watching last night’s episode and thinking back to how everything played out in real time, I owe you an apology. If anything I said or did came off offensive, that was never my intention, and I’m truly sorry. I was under the impression you swung first, and that shaped how I saw it. But watching it back, whew… it hit different.”
In her post, Ming expressed regret for making assumptions and clarified that she does not support violence. She also acknowledged Jackie’s emotional reaction as a mother, stating: “I don’t condone violence at all, and it was hard to watch. As a mom, I understand where your emotions were coming from. Anybody in your shoes would’ve felt the same.”
Ming ended her message by reflecting on the lesson learned and offering hope for resolution between Jackie and Chantel:
“This whole situation reminded me to stay out of family business and focus on my own damn business. I really do hope y’all can heal from this, because that was tough to witness,” the hairstylist wrote.
The episode left viewers with strong reactions across social media, with many expressing shock at how quickly things unraveled.
Hopefully, Jackie and Chantel can find a way to rebuild their relationship after such a public and shocking confrontation.
