A Minnesota boy who was shot five times was able to identify his mother’s boyfriend as the shooter just before he died.
On Tuesday, D’Zondria D. Wallace, 30, and her daughter La’Porsha, 14, were found dead in their apartment, according to People. Ja’Corbie, 11, was found unresponsive and was rushed to an area hospital.
Before succumbing to his injuries, the boy was able to name his mother’s boyfriend, Keith, when asked by first responders who shot him.
Tekeith Jones, 26, was arrested on three counts of second-degree murder. According to the criminal complaint, Jones said that he killed the family to save them.
According to a GoFundMe page made for the family, D’Zondria moved from Mississippi to Saint Paul last year. The online fundraiser describes her as “beautiful, outgoing, full of life that wanted the best for her children.”
“D’Zondria loved her children with her whole heart.”
