Rap Legend Missy Elliott and Grammy-Award winning R&B Singer H.E.R. are coming together to collaborate for an iconic Pepsi commercial for the Super Bowl.
Taking to Twitter to announce the upcoming epic moment, Elliott tweeted, “Ok @HerMusicx … we are about to drop some ? @pepsi.”
“You’re legendary!!!! Can’t wait,” H.E.R. responded.
According to PEOPLE, the subject of the 30-second commercial will find H.E.R. and Elliott promoting Pepsi Zero Sugar as well as its new matte black cans and tabs.
Elliott is no stranger to the Super Bowl as she performed during the 2015 halftime show when pop songstress Katy Perry brought her out as a guest to perform some of her biggest hits, including ‘Lose Control,’ ‘Get Ur Freak On,’ and ‘Work It.’
Throughout the years, Pepsi commercials have become a highlight many look forward to during the Super Bowl due to always being creative, funny, and innovative.
Aside from that, Pepsi’s Super Bowl commercials are always star-studded. Elliott and H.E.R.’s upcoming slot during the big show will see them join A-list stars like Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Cardi B, Lil John, Britney Spears, P!nk, Madonna, One Direction, Steve Carell and many more to have a Pepsi commercial during the most-watched event on television during the year.
Prior to the big night, Pepsi is set to host “several high-profile” parties & concerts throughout Miami featuring appearances from celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Lil John, Fat Joe, and more, according to PEOPLE.
Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are set to perform during the Super Bowl LIV halftime show being presented by the NFL, Pepsi, and Roc Nation.
