It’s a sad day when you see a friendship’s demise play out on national television.
Followers of “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” have watched Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey go through the trenches together. From settling fights within the group and supporting each other through heartbreak to celebrating successes, the duo has been through it all. Unfortunately, the friendship may have run its course.
Leakes made that very clear in a recent video announcement she posted on Instagram. The reality star gained attention after fans noticed she unfollowed all of her RHOA co-stars. That digging led to the PSA, where she briefly addressed her issues with Porsha Williams and explained her true feelings on Cynthia.
The reality star called the model “sneaky” and “underhanded.”
“She has done a lot of stuff that you all don’t get to see on the show that’s just underhanded, and I always come out looking like the bad guy. She’s done a lot of f—ed up stuff and that’s just for real.”
However, the real tea will be sipped during the finale and, most likely, the reunion.
“There were some other things… I asked her a lot of stuff and she lied and lied and lied and lied. ‘Til finally, this finale really shows the sneaky, underhanded, Cynthia Bailey.”
This isn’t the first fallout between the two, but it definitely seems like the most dramatic. Especially after Nene described her friend of decades as just a “coworker.”
“I don’t have no hate in my heart for Cynthia,” Leakes said. “We are coworkers from this day forward. I don’t have any reason not to speak to her, I’m happy to not speak to her. I’m happy to speak to her. But anything else further than that, it’s not going to happen. No. We are coworkers.”
Bailey hasn’t directly responded to the public message. However, she commented an unbothered advertisement of her Cynthia Bailey shades under her former friend’s video on a fan page…Raise your hand if you think this shady pair will make up!
