Nick Cannon is tapping out when it comes to having any more children. He says he got a vasectomy consultation upon his next child’s arrival.
The host of the “Masked Singer” tells E! Daily Pop, “I already went and got my vasectomy consultation. I’m not out here looking to populate the Earth completely, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have.”
The star has eight children, twins Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. Golden “Sagon” and Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell. Zion and Zillion, his second set of twins with DJ Abby De La Rossa. And his eighth child, Zen, with Alyssa Scott, though the child passed away of a brain tumor.
Cannon and Bre Tiesi are expecting a child together. In the interview with Daily Pop, he expressed the “guilt” he has not being able to spend time with all of his children though he does FaceTime them and takes them to school morning.
“I don’t know if I would’ve designed it this way, but it’s one of those things when you’re blessed with the gifts of children — and as we all know, I’ve been through so much. I find solace, I find peace in my children, and I find purpose.”
He also talks about how his children are tapping into their talent and skills. “They gonna be some talented babies,” the “Wild n Out” star says. “You definitely gonna see some Cannons on the screen and hear their music. I’m going to have to recoup some of this.
He also says that he is refraining from sex and staying celibate because celibacy helps him focus, and he’s a “father first and foremost.”
