Nicki Minaj is addressing viral social media posts from an account claiming to be a fired personal assistant.
Monday, an Instagram claiming to be Nicki’s former assistant posted numerous frivolous claims about Minaj, saying she owed the IRS $173 million, in addition to other allegations about her hairstylist and son.
It didn’t take long for fans to realize the account was a troll after noticing that the photo used as the profile picture actually belonged to a woman named Megan, according to a LinkedIn account.
Nicki caught wind of the chatter and went Live on Instagram Monday evening to address the viral posts.
“Every day, I learn that y’all getting dumber and fucking dumber,” Nicki said on Instagram Live.
“For a person to believe it, you would have to be dumb.”
“I really need yall to either get a job, invest in yourself and your future,” she continued.
The “Do We Have a Problem?” rapper also claimed another fan base is behind this and is going through with their plot to take her down.
The Instagram page has since been deleted.
