Usually I would expect a fight during the Playoffs to happen between members of opposite teams but apparently Lance Stephenson & Evan Turner, who both play for the Indiana Pacers, have some built up animosity that lead to the two getting into a fist fight at practice.

Prior to their victory over the Atlanta Hawks last night, news surfaced that Indiana Pacers wing-players Lance Stephenson & Evan Turner got into fight heading into the post-season. The team was already coming into the playoffs with a recent slump; but Last Friday during a practice on the eve of their post-season home opener against the Atlanta Hawks, tempers flared between the two 25-year-old players. In the fight, Evan Turner was seen cut his teammate, as veteran players Luis Scola and David West managed to untangle the two from the fistfight. This wasn’t the first time a teammate in Indiana lost it with Stephenson, and in our opinion won’t be the last. Since the February trade that saw the exit of former captain Danny Granger, the team has been in disarray, with even coaching being questioned.
Evan’s had a tough time adjusting to playing with more talented players, after many years of being the main scorer for the Philadelphia 76ers. This has obviously cut into the minutes of Lance this season for his audition at landing a big pay day for the pending summer 2014 free agency, but cooler heads have contained the situation for now.
Indiana now heads to Atlanta tomorrow night for game 3, with the series tied 1-1.
