Paris Jackson, daughter of music legend Michael Jackson, was hospitalized today after attempting suicide.
TMZ is reporting that close family sources are claiming Paris’s latest suicide attempt is due to the fallout from the controversial documentary “Leaving Neverland.”
It’s said to be a direct response to the allegations made against her late father by his accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police and EMS responded to her home at 7:30 AM with her wrists slit.
She was taken to the hospital and placed on a 5150 hold, where she is currently listed in stable condition, being closely monitored by a team of physicians.
Paris has had a hard time dealing with the loss of her father since his death in 2009. She attempted suicide once before in 2013 and has been extremely open about her past struggles with depression.
According to TMZ’s sources, the fallout and backlash her father is receiving from the “Leaving Neverland” documentary and the efforts to mute his music and tarnish his name and career are said to be too much for the young woman.
Paris Jackson and the entire Jackson family have maintained his innocence.
Update: Paris Jackson denies suicide attempt!
