After dropping a very explosive trailer for the upcoming documentary about the inside of the Royal Family and Buckingham Palace, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accepted an anti-racism award at the Robert F. Kennedy human rights foundation.

The Netflix documentary has stirred some controversy but ultimately tells the truth about the rise and downfall of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The two seemed to be in good spirits at the Robert F. Kennedy foundation’s Ripple of Hope Gala when they received the award from the former late politician’s daughter in New York City on Tuesday night.

The anti-racism award presents individuals who “demonstrated an unwavering commitment to social change and worked to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights” In addition to the Sussexes receiving the award, five other people also did.

Past recipients included Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton.

Last year in an Oprah Winfrey interview, the royals denounced their royal names and no longer were a part of the Royal family, retiring their former duties.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have remained open about the Royal family’s racism, with Harry supporting his wife. He also called out the Royals for leaking stories and creating a narrative of everyone against Markle.

The documentary’s volume I premieres December 8, with volume II premiering December 15.
