Pusha T just dropped his album, It’s Almost Dry, today with a feature of Kanye West on a couple of tracks. The 44-year-old rapper visited The Breakfast Club to discuss his album and stance on the Kanye vs. Drake beef.
Pusha T jokes that he is still “outside.”
When DJ Envy asked about Kanye and Drake squashing their beef and where that leaves Pusha T, he responded, “I’m still outside.” Then laughed with the crew.
After, he got more into detail about what he meant.
“For me, I think that was really good for them. I think that they both like, it’s something weird with them two, like the co-existing of both of them together, it’s just really, I don’t know, it’s something that they have to have.”
He continues, “Me personally, you know, I don’t stand anything to gain from like you know squashing anything or whatever. I mean, I’m not entertaining it but I’m not. There’s nothing I want from the situation. I don’t want to do a record. I don’t wanna do none of that.”
He also said that he would not be there if they did a show together. “Nah, I think you [Kanye] should go to the show.” Then Angie chimed in, saying, “you’re not aggressively going after him but you’re not trying to squash it” when referring to his beef with Drake. Pusha T agreed with her statement.
Pusha T says, “I don’t care to squash it; it’s nothing to talk about for me.”
The two have had beef over the years, and things got more intense when Pusha T revealed Drake had a child out of wedlock back in 2018. According to HipHopDX, they have been feuding since 2011.
