R. Kelly Off The Hook In Dallas STD Case After Officials Close Investigation, Victim Plans to Refile in New York

R.Kelly is officially in the clear in his STD case after Dallas investigators closed their investigation into the allegations. 

Back in April, a woman filed a police report against Kelly, accusing him of holding her against her will, giving her drugs and alcohol, and an STD. In the lawsuit, the woman said she met Kelly in Dallas at the age of 19, and in turn, was held captive as a sex slave.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But now, almost a year after the filing, officials have closed the case. 

According to TMZ, no charges will be filed against Kelly in connection to the STD case in Dallas, however, the victim says she will refile in New York, where the alleged incident took place. 

In the meantime, Kelly is still under investigation in Georgia over allegations brought forth in the Lifetime docu-series, “Surviving R. Kelly.”
