The internet went nuts when a Buzzfeed article hit the web, claiming that R.Kelly is running some type of a “sex cult.” The article accused Kelly of holding women against their will in both Chicago and Atlanta, and also included claims of both physical and mental abuse.
To no surprise, Kelly and his camp are firing back at the allegations with a statement released by the singer’s rep.
“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”
According to TMZ, they can confirm they police have done welfare checks on at least one of the women in both Illinois and Georgia, but she insisted she was fine and their on her own free will.
