Despite a photo op at the 2022 BET Award and a possible reconciliation, Princess Love plans on moving forward with her divorce from Ray J.
Radar Online obtained documents alleging the 37-year-old reality star wants the court to set a trial date to end the rocky relationship. The court will also review visitation, child custody, child support, spousal support, division of property, and attorney fees.
The two have gone back and forth regarding a divorce. Princess filed for divorce in May 2020. However, they patched things up, but later in the year, Ray J, 41, filed for divorce in September 2020. Things were going well until Ray J was hospitalized with pneumonia and found time to file for divorce in October 2021. The latest on the divorce talk was in January when Princess said she was open to reconciling, but divorce was acceptable too, and she would be a single woman in August 2022.
So, fans were shocked when the two debuted the 2022 BET Red Carpet last month, seemingly on good terms as he kissed her and she was rocking her wedding ring. However, that didn’t last long either, as Princess now wants to move forward with the divorce.
It seems it’s serious this time, and Princess is focused on moving forward with the divorce, though in the past, she was open, saying, “You never know. The door is always open. We love each other, but when you stop trying, you have to do what you have to do.”
The estranged couple share two children, Melody, 3, and Epik, 2.
