Rihanna has had the support of her native country, Barbados, since the start of her career, and now, she is bringing her Fenty empire to the region.
On Tuesday, Rih dropped the bombshell news that beginning on October 24th, Fenty Skin, Fenty Beauty, and Fenty Fragrance will be available on the island. However, the products will expand beyond Barbados, arriving at stores in Antigua, Aruba, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, and Sint Maarten.
“After all these years, I could not be more excited to announce that Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are finally going to be available across the Caribbean and in my home country, Barbados,” she said in the video. “Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin were inspired by my own beauty needs and, of course, growing up in the Caribbean, I know you will all find something that works for you.”
Since its launch with LVMH in 2017, Fenty Beauty has taken the world by storm. Unfortunately, it has not been in Caribbean stores. Now, customers can find these bestselling products at select retailers, such as Lipstick Antigua, Maggy’s Aruba, John Bull Ltd. in the Bahamas, and Bridgetown Duty-Free in Barbados. However, it doesn’t appear that her latest venture, Fenty Hair, will be added to the lineup immediately.
This latest expansion follows the launch in China and India earlier this year. As islanders patiently await these goods to arrive, here are just a few of our favorite Fenty finds.
